Domine, Jesu Christe, Rex gloriae,
libera animas omniurn fidelium defunctorum
de poenis inferni, et de prof undo lacu:
libera cas de ore leonis,
ne absorbeat eas tartarus, ne cadant in obscurum,

repraesentet eas in lucem sanctam,

Lead them into the holy light
Which once Thou didst promise to Abraham and his seed.
