Bhaisajyaguru-Mantra of Medicine Buddha [Yàoshīfó (藥師佛); Yàoshīrúlái (藥師如來)]

namo bhagavate bhaiṣajya-guru
vailūrya prabha-rājāya
tathāgatāya arhate samyaksambuddhāya

南無薄伽伐帝。鞞殺社。具嚕薜琉璃。鉢喇婆。喝囉闍也。
怛陀揭多耶。阿羅喝帝。三藐三勃陀耶。怛姪他。
唵。鞞殺逝。鞞殺逝。鞞殺社。三沒揭帝。娑訶。
願以此功德 普及於一切 我等與眾生 皆共成佛道
Bhaiṣajyaguru, more formally Bhaiṣajyaguruvaidūryaprabharāja (भैषज्यगुरुवैडूर्यप्रभाराज; "Medicine Master and King of Lapis Lazuli Light"), is the buddha of healing and medicine in Mahayana Buddhism. In the English language, he is commonly referred to as the "Medicine Buddha". The use of the a***ogy of a Buddha being depicted as a doctor who cures the illness of suffering using the medicine of his teachings appears widely in Buddhist scriptures.
In the Bhaiṣajyaguruvaidūryaprabharāja Sūtra, the Medicine Buddha is described as having entered into a state of samadhi called "Eliminating All the Suffering and Afflictions of Sentient Beings." From this samadhi state he spoke the Medicine Buddha Dharani.
Buddhists recite the mantra of the Medicine Buddha to overcome sickness. He is also closely a**ociated with ceremonies for temple donors and for transferring of merit to such donors.
藥師灌頂真言，俗稱藥師咒，是藥師佛的根本真言，是佛教界普遍誦念的知名咒語。
有兩項作用，一是在生病、受傷時誦念，祈求藥師佛為病人加持，減除病人的痛苦，幫助早日療癒。用法一般是在食物或飲水誦念一百零八遍，給病人服用。二是與藥師佛相應，希望命終之後，能夠往生藥師佛的東方佛國琉璃世界，也可以為亡靈誦念。
《藥師琉璃光如來本願功德經》：「曼殊室利！若見男子、女人有病苦者，應當一心，為彼病人，常清淨澡漱，或食、或藥、或無蟲水、咒一百八遍，與彼服食，所有病苦悉皆消滅。若有所求，志心念誦，皆得如是無病延年；命終之後，生彼世界，得不退轉，乃至菩提。是故曼殊室利！若有男子、女人，於彼藥師琉璃光如來，至心殷重，恭敬供養者，常持此咒，勿令廢忘。」
