TIME LAYS DOWN
When I awake and find myself amid this morning
Cloudy sunrise drapes the dawning
Welcome home for the traveller weary
Not of this land but those of the mind
In search of a pillar of light always shining
Close my eyes and I'm feeling the glow
Distant ships of another creation
Sale the seas of my imagination
Passing through
Time lays downs beside me
I reach through a fountain
That waters the memories that grow in my mind
Harvest the seeds that feed my emotion
For a world of a different kind
Premonitions of my own conceiving
Close my eyes and I've opened the door
Leave the mechanised world of my body behind me
Where destinations are long pre-determined
Passing through to charge the view
Across the rivers running through my mind
It's to be in my keep

Long-awaited are things that you find
Tallest mountains, blinding sunlight
