I've had a bad 3 days coming off of a bad 3 years

for me to think about how things aren't always as they appear

And every dream that I chased I watched it all be erased
It is just like trying to capture the wind
And the hole we find ourselves in is sinking

My life is stuck in rewind
If I don't think about all these trials they'll just disappear
My apathy turns out just fine
I wear a robe of regret, of pain I'd like to forget
Like somebody left the record stuck on repeat
