Into classes, genders, races
Countries and mindsets
Seething dysfunction
And boiling with unrest
As the walls around us rise
On all sides to hem us in
Do we help to build them stronger
Or strive to work against them
It's easier to build the walls
Than it is to tear them down
But our efforts must be concerted
To smash them to the ground
Xenophobia and ignorance
Are our mortar and our bricks
While our ego's and our arogance
Form a counter-productive mix
