Walking through Providence
To find some strange tales
of my own
But in that darkened church
I found a weird stone!
An ebon talisman,
Of the three-lobed
burning eye!
And where that
gaze had set,
There was nothing
but to die!
I gazed into the shining
Trapezohedron,
I felt my frozen mind
Move far from our own sun.
Chaos! Storm!
Yuggoth! Borne!
And when the stars abound
In the fading light,
And when the cheerless day
Has turned to darkest night,
And when your hope and reason
Fails you in the heart,
You know it's time
to meet the Haunter.
