Victims of science; morality and violence
Victims of progress and victims of profit
You've seen the tortured, slaughtered
But still you choose to ignore it
Animals suffer and animals die
Nobody shouts but we all whisper why
Needless experiments in the name of science
Medical research is how they justify their violence
Whilst they amass prestige wealth and fame
The end result of their s*****ic experiments is
Yet more death and pain
And we teach compassion, love and caring
But with torture under the guise of knowledge
These sentiments have no bearing
If we see a battered child we stand shocked and appalled
But a smoking beagle or limbless rabbit
Are too easily ignored
Animals burnt, beaten, blinded
s*****ic slaughter given no real reason
While backs are turned, bodies are burned
Knowledge is power but ignorance is bliss
