Destinos Lyrics

Well, I saved the hottest for last. As we considered the doctrine of angels and the... the doctrine of demons and Satan and we've looked at, for two weeks we spent talking about um... heaven. The theology of heaven. And this week we are going to be talking as you heard us say a couple of times, uh, about the biblical doctrine of hell. And the reason why we do this is because we know uh, like these other topics it is uh... it is very poorly understood. The question that is often asked by those who struggle with this doctrine is... "What grounds does God have to punish someone for eternity? What justification is there for a holy and perfect God to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner?" ... "What justification... is there... for a holy and perfect God to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner," in other words "What grounds does God have to punish someone for eternity what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what justification is there for a holy and perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what grounds does god have to forgive the most vile and wretched of people what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what justification is there for a holy and perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what grounds does god have to forgive the most vile and wretched of people what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what justification is there for a holy and perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what grounds does god have to forgive the most vile and wretched of people what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what justification is there for a holy and perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner what grounds does god have to forgive the most vile and wretched of people what kind of fool do you think I am what kind of fool do you think I am what kind of fool do you think I am what kind of fool do you think I am what kind of fool do you think I am what kind of fool do you think I am

wh- so why does god allow me to suffer in this world why is there evil and I'm affected by it you see the starting point... that's the psy... and when you put on the world's view... when you really put on the biblical lenses and you see all things, ALL THINGS, and all the problems in the universe how in the world is god's goals and desires and expectations how are those problems...
what grounds does god have to forgive the most vile and wretched of people
what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner
what justification is there for a holy perfect god to forgive a wicked and rebellious sinner

into this stupid world that doesn't give a d*** what kind of fool do you think I am
what kind of fool do you think I am

... living our only hope for salvation and peace with god is by looking to Christ, by seeing his perfection, by knowing that HE is righteous, I'm wicked and sinful and I need Christ as my Savior
when I understand that, I began to take on a biblical world view

and it made grace amazing
and beautiful

and glorious

and it made me thankful. i believe that one of the main reasons why Christians suffer from ingratitude and lack of thankfulness is because they do not really understand the depravity of their own sin
